Mount Agung is the highest volcano in Bali, Indonesia. It last erupted in 1963 with devastating consequences for people living nearby and killing more than 1,100 people and injuring hundreds more.

A state of emergency has been declared after volcanologists warned that an eruption at Mount Agung volcano is imminent and require a great evacuation in some areas in Karangasem, Bali. As of September 29 th 2017, the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB) announced there are 143,167 refugees divided in 430 evacuation centers in 9 districts.

Together with my wife and some volunteer friends here in Sanur - Bali, we share our sympathy and team an independent project to contribute our capacity to help the Mount Agung evacuees who left with minimum supplies in their new shelters.
